Impaired driver charged after hitting impaired pedestrian

An unusual case for police in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Officers were called to an intersection early last evening where a vehicle-pedestrian had occurred.
They discovered that both the pedestrian and the driver were impaired.
The pedestrian wasn’t seriously hurt and was taken to hospital for observation.
The impaired-related charges have been laid against the driver.
