Police are investigating several threats made against Edmonton high schools since last night.

Edmonton Public Schools says four high schools were targeted either online or by phone.

One high school was put on alert for about 40 minutes after receiving a phone threat over the noon hour today.

Another was briefly put on lockdown after receiving a similar threat around the same time.

The school board says police have determined none of the threats posed any danger to students, staff or the public.
