A “hold and secure” that was implemented at a school south of Edmonton has been lifted after police investigated threats that were made on social media.
R-C-M-P say they responded to a report Monday afternoon of threats at Father Leduc Elementary School.
They say a student found a threatening Snapchat post concerning the safety of the school, and a school staff member was told right away.
Police say one person has been taken into custody and there’s no concern for public safety.
