Free admission to the Foster's Peace Country Classic Agri-Show at Evergreen Park from Thursday, March 7th to Saturday, March 9th.
Agricultural exhibits are located outside and inside the TARA Centre and also include the Peace Crafts & Creations Show & Sale.
Thursday, March 7th 10am to 5pm
Friday, March 8th 10am to 5pm
Saturday, March 9th 10am to 4pm
All 3 days – Barda Equipment 50/50 in support of STARS Air Ambulance – in the foyer of the TARA Centre.
Thursday morning - New Horizon Co-op Exhibitors Breakfast – check your exhibitor package.
Friday at 1pm - Peace Classic Bull Sale - Drysdale Arena inside the Evergreen Park Events Pavillion.
Friday at 1pm - Michener Allen Kids Auction - foyer of the TARA Centre.
Friday evening - County of Grande Prairie Farm Family Banquet honouring the Hawkes – Johnson Family - Clarkson Hall. Advance tickets are required. Call 780-532-9727.
Friday 2-8pm and Saturday 10am – 4pm - Keddie's Horse Program with clinics and demonstrations – The year of the Cowgirl – Lewis Hawkes Arena inside the Evergreen Park Events Pavillion.
Saturday - Youth + Livestock Program (ages 6 – 18) presented by Country Junction Feeds - Drysdale Arena inside the Evergreen Park Events Pavillion.
Saturday at 5pm - Canyon Rigging Thunder In The Pines Skijoring - J.D.A. Raceway at Gordon Badger Stadium. Participants arrive by 4:30pm.
***Admission by donation to STARS Air Ambulance.
***The ultimate Alberta winter sport combining horse riders and sliders (snowboarders and skiers) racing the clock wearing fringes, fur and their fastest steeds, skis and boards! There are prizes:
***Best Dressed- Cowboy / Western style (Pull out those wooly chaps and 10 gallon hats)
***Fastest time
***Most epic crash
There is a Circuit Race (approx. 400m semi-circle track) and a Sprint Race (approx. 100m straight track).
