The Aquatera Community Skating Oval is an outdoor 400m Olympic-sized speed skating oval that is open December until the Spring melt.

It's coordinated by the Peace Wapiti Speed Skating Club for outdoor training of Peace Country speed skating athletes.

When they are not hosting a practice or a meet, the community is invited to enjoy skating.

Speed skates, and all sport skates are welcome. They highly recommend wearing a helmet, especially for youth age 17 and under.

Please skate counter-clockwise, to the Left.

X    NO hockey sticks & pucks.

X    NO pets on the ice.

Take care not to groove the ice or make hard hockey stops, as it can damage the ice and cause a closure for all skaters while it is being repaired.

In the new year, some Wednesday and Friday nights, the lights will be on to skate in the evening. (Example 6:30-8pm).

Located West of Eastlink Centre / North of the Hansen Lincoln Field located on Grande Prairie's CKC (Community Knowledge Campus) at Knowledge Way.
