The Grande Prairie Museum offers a high level of accessibility and is suitable for all ages. Always FREE admission.
The galleries feature both temporary and permanent exhibits, including features from the prehistoric area, the first homesteads of the Peace Region, and modern times. The Isabel Campbell and Mel Rodacker Gallery features rotating exhibits throughout the year.
Hours
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday to Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Museum has an adjoining Heritage Village that is open May through September (weather dependent) and features heritage structures, replicas and equipment to give guests a deeper view into the region's past.
Located in beautiful Muskoseepi Park (102 Street at 102 Avenue).From early pioneers, Indigenous peoples, dinosaurs, and railways, to minerals, military artifacts, antiques and motorcycles, the Grande Prairie Museum has it all!
