Thomas Dale Nelson, resident of Clairmont, AB, formerly of Kamloops, BC, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Clairmont, at the age of 30 years.

Tom was born on August 9, 1990, in Kamloops, BC. Tom and his family moved to Grande Prairie, AB, in 2006. Tom attended Sexsmith Secondary School, where he played on the Sexsmith Sabres Football team before graduating in 2008. After graduation, he worked multiple jobs in the Alberta oilfield and touched a lot of people’s lives.

Tom was headstrong, caring, and had a huge, loving heart. He left a trail of joy and laughter along his way. He loved being around his kids, going to the gym, and watching the Seattle Seahawk’s games with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his parents Kelly and Betty Nelson, brother Myles Nelson,

his two children Sylvia Nelson and TJ Nelson, and his children’s mother Karin Neufeld.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 3:00pm, at Webster Hall near Sexsmith, AB.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the children’s trust fund via cheque made out to Canada Life.
