May 1, 1969 – November 13, 2021

Patrick James Walker was born in Calgary, Alberta on May 1st, 1969 to Bruce and Diane.

At the age of 8, James moved to Grande Prairie, where he finished his school years. Shortly after graduation, he was married to Lorrie, his high–school sweetheart. They were married for 33 years and had six children and six grandchildren. James was a family man through and through, always putting others before himself. His winsome smile and contagious laughter will be remembered fondly for years to come.

James trained as a psychologist at the University of Alberta and served as a counselor in the Grande Prairie area for over 25 years. A lifelong Christian, James volunteered for several faith communities and causes both locally and abroad. James passed away on November 13, 2021, after a three- year battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed.

He now awaits the resurrection together with all those who hope in Christ.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Victory Church on the Rock in Grande Prairie, AB this Saturday Nov. 20^th at 11:00 am. Admission to the in-person celebration is by invitation only; however, the service will be live-streamed for those who wish to attend virtually.
