The Grande Prairie Storm won 5-4 in overtime Wednesday against the Sherwood Park Crusaders.
The game winner was scored by Connor Blake on a penalty shot with 26.4 seconds left in overtime.
Edouard Michaud was back in the lineup Wednesday. The forward had been out for a month after dislocating his shoulder.
Michaud, 20, was leading the team with 12 goals and eight assists before he was hurt in mid-October.
The Storm, who have now won 7 of their last 9 games, will be back in action Friday at home against the Camrose Kodiaks.
They are 8-0-2 in their last 10 games at Revolution Place.
