Second case of COVID-19 identified at Beaverlodge Regional High School

A second case of COVID-19 has been identified at Beaverlodge Regional High School.

According to the Peace Wapiti Public School Division, the individual who tested positive was last in the school on Friday, January 22.

School administration communicated the information to the families and staff on Thursday, January 28 after they learned about the positive test result.

The school will remain open for in-person learning and all close contacts of the individual have been advised to isolate.

Close contacts of this case and the one detected on January 21 won’t be allowed to return to the school until after February 6
