Another water main rupture in Peace River

UPDATE: The Town of Peace River has a new estimated repair time for both water main breaks.

Crews are currently responding to another water main rupture in the town of Peace River.

The rupture occurred by work near the new Peace River bridge.

As a result, water in the area will be shut off and rerouted through another line, and there will be no water disruptions expected for residents in the North end of the community.

Drivers are asked to avoid River Road near the Hwy 2 bridge and to use 98 street at this time.
