Peace Regional RCMP say three people have been charged after the seizure of weapons and drugs from a Grimshaw home.

Mounties say that a firearms investigation led to a search of the home on Friday, October 21.

Police seized 80 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, a semi-automatic rifle, a taser and edged weapons.

Two of the accused, 33-year-old Clifford William Carifelle and 21-year-old Cheyanne Geissler, are from Grimshaw. The third, 27-year-old Jordin Dwyer, is from Berwyn.

They are all facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a prohibited weapon among other charges.

Carifelle is also facing other weapons and failure to comply charges.

He has been remanded, the other two have been released. All three are due in court Monday, October 31.

Carifelle is also facing charges after an incident involving a stolen motorcycle and a methamphetamine seizure in August of 2021.
