Peace River RCMP using previous information led to an arrest
Peace River RCMP used information gathered from an earlier investigation to execute a search warrant on two separate properties within Peace River, stemming from what they call a significant drug and firearm investigation.
On February 3, at 6:15 a.m. Peace River Mounties, with the support of the Western Alberta Crime Reduction Unit and the RCMP Emergency Response Team, seized a number of illegal items:
- Two loaded prohibited handguns
- One 12 gauge shotgun
- 564.5 grams of suspected cocaine
- 48.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- 10.1 grams of suspected fentanyl
