Big group of Piranhas competing at nationals

A big Grande Prairie contingent will be competing at a national event this week in Toronto.

Thirteen members of the Grande Prairie Piranhas will be racing at the Canadian Swimming Championships, being held at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

The Piranhas taking part range in age from 13 to 17. The group includes, as posted on the Piranhas Facebook page, the following athletes:

The Piranhas won three gold, three silver and four bronze medals and finished ninth overall at the 2022 Swimming Canada Junior and Senior Championships held in Montreal.
