GPCSD board endorses district transfer for St. Thomas More Catholic School

The future of St. Thomas More Catholic School in Fairview is beginning to take shape.

At its Monday meeting, the board at Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools voted to begin the process of transferring St. Thomas into the jurisdiction of the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division for the 2024-2025 school year.

HFCRD passed a similar motion earlier this month.

Now that both school boards have agreed to the transfer, the idea will be sent to the Minister of Education for final approval.
