STM School officially transfers to HFCRD

St. Thomas More School in Fairview has officially changed divisions.

A Ministerial Order has been signed and released by the Office of the Alberta Education Minister officially transferring the Ward of STM, including the school and other properties from Grande Prairie Catholic School Division, to Holy Family Catholic Regional Division.

HFCRD Board Chair Kelley Whalen says they are proud to be a part of the growth of Catholic Education in their community.

The process of transferring the school began following a request from members of the St. Thomas More School Parent Council in March of 2024.

GPCSD Board Chair Rus Snoble says they extend their gratitude and appreciation to everyone who supported STM part of their division.
