Slow-moving agricultural equipment expected on County roads

The County of Grande Prairie is reminding drivers to be patient on the roads, as harvest gets underway.

During this time, drivers may encounter slow-moving agricultural machinery on the roadways, and the County asks motorists to be “patient and respectful of these essential vehicles.”

The County added, reduce speeds when encountering these slow-moving vehicles, maintain a safe distance, and use caution when passing.

According to the latest Alberta Crop report, only three per cent of harvest is completed in the Peace region.
