City of Grande Prairie adds twelve new COVID-19 cases
The City of Grande Prairie added 12 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, while the province added 422 for October 26.
The new cases in the Swan City bring the active case load to 103, as there were no recoveries reported. There were also four new cases added in the County of Grande Prairie, where there are now 19 active cases.
Surpassing the threshold of 50 active cases per 100,000 people, the County was added to Alberta Health’s “watch” list, though no additional measures are being put in place at this time.
Alberta Health also updated its outbreak sites list, where Prairie Lakes Seniors Facility in Grande Prairie was removed. As of last week, there had only been two cases in the facility, both of which have recovered.
